Inspired by one of the best deleted scenes from the infamous Metallica Biopic, “Some Kind of Monster”, we explore the duality of man and take a deep dive into the minds behind one of the most influential metal bands of the 21st century. Through this extensive analysis, we may be the first group of musical scientists to fully map the connection between the mind of Lars Ulrich and his controversial snare tone.
